Little Lea 03:11
Can you wait, can you wait a while longer Can you wait, can you wait, I'm sending it over I'm making, I'm making, I'm making concessions, when I should be making, be making, be making confession Are you in the distant corner, or close within reach To the core I know but I sill I struggle to conceive Eyelashes frame a time before I heard the sweetest sound Crumbling off and tumbling, tumbling down I closed my eyes, but for a stark lack and misspending of time To hand it over, but I can only look, only look to the corner Distant corner Close within reach To the core I know Still I struggle to conceive A stark lack Of time and reason I struggle and falter You're real you're real

Ornaments 02:47
I let you down, let you down again, I need to get as far as I can go I need a ride, will it be on time? I need to get gone, for sure I held you close, held you oh so close, as close as possible Better a man, no I want to let go Better a Man, no Should I hold on? Better a man, no When I forget what I'm feeling Better a man no How should i prove that I am a fool I should let go I need to pray more, to read the truth, I need to hold on I'll set a time, then I'll get in the way I'll set a friend, then I'll get in the way I'll set a place, a sacred place I'll set a time Should I let go when there's something wrong? I need to hold on Should I let go if there's something wrong? I need to stop doing wrong and hold on Better a man, no I want to let go Better a Man, no Should I hold on? Better a man, no When I forget what I'm feeling Better a man When I forget what I'm feeling Better a man

Armistice 02:59
What is won? heal up this cataract, my sights impaired When it's done, teach me how to act, I will go anywhere Anchored down, in the face, of prevailing helpful winds What's this great gale for, if we are anchored down, we go nowhere To arms To arms To arms to arms to armistice Not Defeat but in Surrender, we are welcomed, we are honoured Anchored down Connected link in link Chain is bound But inherently weak Links unwinding We'll find it together, together we'll sever Chain is bound Link in link Comprised of a series of defeats With aid we'll find it, together we'll sever, we'll rise together

At once bemused Now uncovered I rectified The inert Grip has gone Overwhelmed with what we understood You were stayed but not against your will You were stayed and we were not too far away And we held the signs above our head And we stayed You were stayed and invited me in And I came and we spent all of the day We were stayed, but against our will We were stayed Ascertain I made this awry Apprehensive But I could not Make my way if this was the last time We were stayed but not against our wills We were stayed and we were not to far away And we held the signs above our heads And we stayed Kernels instilled, intact Safely they're held near by We are not scared to clasp Make a pact for a pair We're charmed, we can abide Let us not wait, or with to much haste We're charmed, we can abide Let us not wait, or with to much haste Let us not race, or hinder progress We were stayed but not against our wills We were stayed and we were not to far away And we held the signs above our heads And we stayed

Trails 03:20
You know this is going so well, you know this deep inside Know that when you bore out a well, we pray all is well deep down Are you drawing from the well? the well that won't run dry Stagnant, a hazard, fell and fleeting or a spring of joy that is pure and pleasing Aligned you'll find you're on a line you'll find your on a line too Laid out is a choice of wells, all wells dissimilar Give me the wisdom how to tell which well has a source worth drawing from Firmly Founded, Giving, Vast, Forgiving Aligned you'll find, you're on a line, you'll find, your on a line too You're on a line, you'll find you are aligned

Stalagmites 04:02
The date postponed as if what you own you hold to But you've got a light at your side It never fails when you hold to At least in part you've got a light The day proposed because what we owe we hold to But you've got a light at your side At least in part We've got a light At our side Got a light An attitude, lets not put it together in our own time Please pull me through, let's not put it together in our own time Please pull me through, let's not put it together in our own time Let's just put it together Let's not put it together in our own time Let's put it together when it's right

Trembleur 03:58
The present is our domain, These anticipation's will blur our vision. There is so much to the approximate, How will we treat it? The future events may be, Accidental but with cause and reason. The future is our domain, How will we treat it? Incidents have causes A root of destruction, The neglect of problems. Evidence of council, In the consolations. Incidents have causes Woo

They were standing in the distance by, the Fires ignite this town, burn this city down On the night of blaze, silhouette's were made, by Young men at arms, their weakened hearts did... Fade so low my heart sank so hard Of these men at arms, found by heart shaped casts New hearts made of iron will way us down and rust Colourful, do you remember the day? When we learned to pray in everything Don't doubt these boarders, there not locked Great things will come Don't guess these boundaries, you'll restrict What can be done How far do you reach? The constellations How far do you reach?

Runaway 03:04
I have petitioned for more time and so flippantly make my case that I'm dependable So terrified that I have to vouch for it I have endeavoured so tirelessly It is tomorrow the day that I'm dependable To increase my grace, but that's not what's promised I don't want to run away, I don't want to run away But to fight, fight, fight I have exemption and yet I'll anxiously still make my claim that I'm dependable So terrified that I have to vouch for it I have endeavoured so wearily It is tomorrow the day that I'm dependable To increase my grace, but that's not what's promised I don't want to run away, I don't want to run away But to fight, fight, fight I have petitioned for more time and so flippantly make my case that I'm dependable So terrified that I have to vouch for it I have attempted to reconcile a part of me I've only lost when I think that I'm dependable I can hand it over to a greater strength to my relief I don't want to run away, I don't want to run away But to fight, fight, fight

Don't question yourself in all you've done

about

On October 2nd, Before Machines will play Limelight 2. This will be our last performance. A few weeks ago the two Dans announced their intentions to leave the band, confirming what we had all been feeling in our hearts for some time - that Before Machines are over.

The release of the "Tundra" album earlier this year was a real high-point for us, but it only served to paper over some of the cracks that had been appearing. Before Machines have been performing for the best part of five years. In that time we've all changed as people; priorities have changed for everyone and some of us feel the need to move away from music. Conversely, there are some of us who will carry on making music; but it wouldn't be right to call it Before Machines.

We'd like to thank everyone who ever put a show on for us, gave us a place to sleep, came to one of our shows, bought a record, or even just listened along the way. As a thank-you, we'll be making our "Tundra" album free to download with immediate effect. We're still very proud of this record, and we hope you'll enjoy it.

Thanks,

BM
